Let’s talk winter. Again.
Disclaimer: I never thought I had to talk about the W word ever again but Mother Nature has a different agenda – SNOWDAY. As we speak, I can see snowflakes from my office window but not quite gracefully falling from the sky in a Disney Magic Winter Wonderland kind of way. Rather, it’s snowing cats and dogs in a depressing spring are you ever coming kind of way.
SNOWDAY DELAYS ALL PLANNED SPRING OUTFITS
A snowstorm at this time when April Showers should really be bringing May Flowers is not only a bit of a downer but it really puts a damp on your planned happy spring outfits. Aside from that, it also means that transitioning into your spring skincare routine just have to wait. Not the end of the world obviously, it just means you still need that heavy duty moisturizer and lip balm.

First up, an easy and quick way to look super fabulous even when the weather is not is to ACCESSORIZE! Take those shiny pretty things out of your jewellery box and wear them. Why not pile them on like I did here – going all matchy matchy with my sparkly multi-coloured statement earrings and matching bracelets from Banana Republic.
While I opted for a Little Black Dress here (which by the way I also have in red because I LOVE LOVE the way this LBD fits – it’s lose and forgiving yet its still stylish and chic), you can go for colours or prints and top it off with fun accessories that make you all warm and happy!

HOW TO LOOK GOOD DURING A SNOWDAY: #2 GLOWING SKIN AND BRIGHT LIPS
Now, I do realize that we’re probably all a bit white and pasty from this unfortunate extended winter. Admittedly, my skin is not perfect during colder months. Fortunately, I found some fantastic products to help me greatly improve my skin. Read the Fashion Magazine article here.
As we all can agree, winter is indeed stunning and magical but it can wreak such havoc to our skin and hair. But don’t despair, fantastic make-up exists for a reason! Taking on a snowday with glowing skin and bright lips can spell a difference between wanting to cover yourself in a parka and balaclava and going out there, right in the eye of the storm, pose and take some photos! Just like what I did!

Now I know I said Tip #1 was perhaps the easiest... getting to Tip #3 makes me want to take that back! Okay, I take it back…. Ponytail is the easiest and fastest way to not only look pulled together in this frozen tundra but it’s also very practical. Snow may be beautiful but a lot of it , all cold and wet on top of you head makes for damp, clingy and scraggly hair.
