Having a brilliant reputation when it comes to the boot’s quality and durability can be traced back to its legacy. Founded in 1920, Palladium was in the business of making tires for aircraft and quickly made its name for having such advanced technology at that time that most of Europe were using Palladium tires.
Now, I haven’t tried Palladium tires but I’ve certainly tried the boots and I have to say, I’m quite pleased in more ways than one.

With a huge selection of style, colours and materials, the brand’s Pampa Tactical Boots were definitely my top pick. One of the things that attracted me to these specific pair is its military style aesthetic. Not a surprise of course knowing Palladium’s history in manufacturing boots for the French Foreign Legion, which put the boots to rigorous tests in the harsh desert conditions of North Africa and the rugged terrain of the Atlas Mountain.
In Canada’s capital, which really turned out to be the evil step sister of summer called the Polar Vortex, this is exactly the boots I need that is not huge or bulky. It features premium aniline waterproof Nubuck in addition to diamond-quilted lining which means, the Pampa Tactical is both warm and comfortable.

Other notable things I love about Palladium Boots is its use of recycled materials and very reasonable prices, as they won’t rack you hundreds of dollars as say, UGG Australia. With a single-unit molded outsole, these boots also offer great traction for walking on snowy, slippery streets of winter.
