As much as I have some reservations about the holidays coming back so soon, inside me, I’m actually very giddy as I am HUGE fan of Christmas. Growing up, Christmas was usually a grand pomp and ceremony affair made up of at least three weeks of celebration in December and a few more days in January.

A big part of all this of course is the gift giving as no holiday is complete without the shiny wrapped presents topped with pristine looking bows. While I am very much guilty of over-consumption during this time of the year, I’d like to think of it as my little (okay, sizeable!) contribution to the economy. This year however, I aim to be a little bit more thoughtful and add another layer of noble intention into my gift giving.
