FALL FASHION INSTAGRAM GIVE-AWAY W EXPRESS - RIDEAU CENTRE

Try as I might, I just can’t think of a better way to start October than to treat you guys, our loyal readers and constant supporters, with such a special treat that would make fall even more wonderful. There is no doubt that fall is the ‘IT’ season when it comes to fashion with beautiful, luxurious fabrics making appearance at the store. The chillier temperature invites a bit more sophistication in the art of layering and putting contrasting pieces together. I can go on and on with capes and pea coats, trenches and over-the-knee boots but I’m way to excited to tell you about our FALL FASHION Give-away courtesy of EXPRESS!

EXPRESS NOW OPENS AT THE RIDEAU CENTRE

As you know, the well-loved American brand finally opened its second store in Ottawa right at the heart of the city a couple of months ago. The new store is located at the presently re-developing Rideau Centre and was opened to a huge fanfare with selected members of the media and VIP’s of Ottawa along with the stunning staff of Brill Comm, seen here all impeccably dressed, present to celebrate the chic affair. It came right on time when Rideau Centre revealed its brand new Dining Hall, which coincidentally, is located right next to EXPRESS. Perfect location, don’t you think?

WHAT IS EXPRESS

Beloved all over the world for such on trend, high quality pieces that won’t break the bank, EXPRESS has made its mark in producing well-curated fashion collection season after season. In addition to that, the staff at EXPRESS are highly trained,knowledgeable, friendly and impossibly stylish as well (Exhibit A – Photo below with Celina, Marysol, Fiona and Rock ‘n Roll Princess Vice President of Operations Christine, photo below with an all-black number and red high heels). While you can find your classic blazer and trouser for work at EXPRESS, what make them stand out are all the other details that come with its design. When everyone else was going gaga over the midi skirt, EXPRESS launched their midi line with more flair and drama like this Zebra-print number and a solid black with a mesh panel surprise.

KATE UPTON – THE BEAUTIFUL FACE OF EXPRESS

When everyone else went over the top with the cropped top, EXPRESS, along with naming the current Hollywood Darling Kate Upton its Global Ambassador, released a line of cropped tops in a wide variety of style and texture. There’s the romantic lace, the fiery red and the structured black, which I actually dared to wear on TV when I did a segment at Daytime Ottawa with Derick Fage (see his photo below with his gorgeous new wife Monica and stepson Max) on Back-to-School Fashion.

To say that Twenty York Street is a big fan of EXPRESS is obviously a major understatement. I personally have been wishing for it to open since walking into an EXPRESS store at Times Square (no less!) in New York City.
