Here’s one thing beautiful weather, sandy and sunny beaches (I know!) does to you that you may not necessarily talk about or realize – the downside on beauty. One of which is the surprising side effects of getting too much salty ocean water on your skin and nails. I do tend to linger a little bit under the sun and then go for a dip amongst the splashing waves and as much as that does sound like pure bliss (and it truly is!), unfortunately, it can also wreak havoc on your nails.
Lucky was I that before I left for my trip to the south of the Equator, where the weather is hot and the fun is non-stop, I got a surprise package from Trind Canada. Not only did my nails take a beating from the constant mani and pedi with the many, many events we’ve been invited to lately, I also needed to strengthen and protect them for my trip to the blazing heat that is the Philippines.
Our verdict? You can actually get away with just using the Trind Keratin Treatment as it gives your nails a nice smooth finish, like a very subtle French manicure without the obvious white tip! It also visibly strengthened my nails and it delivered on its promise of repairing your splitting, peeling, chipping nails.
