It feels strange doing something that you haven’t done for such a long time. This is one of them – publishing #OOTD posts at Twenty York Street. Once upon a time, this was something that we used to do every single day. YES, E-VE-RY-DAY indeed.
Ah, the simpler times.
It’s not like this year’s Canadian winter was much help in accomplishing this task, believe me, it really is hard to look all that fabulous when taking photos outside while the Northern wind is blowing the glitters off your hair, the endless snow is constantly smudging the line of your perfect curled eyelashes and the risk of frostbite is threatening to overshadow your recently applied shellac nails.
“I glanced out the window at the signs of spring. The sky was almost blue, the trees were almost budding, the sun was almost bright.”
― Millard Kaufman, Bowl of Cherries
Hence my BIG RESPECT to Canadian bloggers who continue to defy Mother Nature and post their outfit blogs day in and day out. Kudos my fashionista friends. Next winter, I hope to do better. I think I’ll increase my odds by moving to somewhere else sunny but for now, I’ve got about 3 more seasons to figure this out.

As I publish post today, the sun seems to be coming out of hiding behind the grey skies and brightening up my window so let’s cross our freshly manicured fingers that for the next post, we shall see no more of this silly winter jacket in April, yes?
Here’s to one fine spring time and a promise of new hope and adventures!
