HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY: SALES AND CELEBRATIONS

IMG_0074

Happy Fourth of July! Says Putin to Obama.

So shall we to all our American friends, family and followers!

Can you think of a better way to celebrate summer? Celebrating major events like the 4th of July and Canada Day just amps the ante of summer festivities and it’s always a welcome chance to dress up patriotically. I do love me the combination of red, white and maple leaf for July 1st and the of course, the red, white and blue for the 4th. While I didn’t make it in time to buy this season’s most coveted stars and stripes (see Sydne Summer for outfit ideas), I was able to snap up, for me and the entire family, several of Old Navy’s Happy Canada Day 2014 tank tops for $4 each. Great deal, yes?

One thing I would love to experience (soon I hope) is actually attending the official party for the 4th of July in Canada, held of course at the Official Residence of the United States Ambassador to Canada in Ottawa. Have you attended one before?

If you’re still looking for outfit ideas on how to rock today, look for inspiration here and here. In the meantime, there are tonnes of sales going on so here’s our list of 2014 FOURTH OF JULY PROMOTIONS if you are in the mood for shopping this weekend:
