One of the brilliant things about having multiple line of work is that you have so many opportunities to dress up in many different ways. You get to dress up, dress down and during special occasions, you really get to glam it all up.

Alright, let’s just agree to disagree that having a lot of clothes is nothing but a great incentive, yes? But how many times did we go through this all too familiar scenario – walk into our closets, looked at the drawers over brimming with tops, skirts and dresses and thought to ourselves:
Waaah, I have nothing to wear.
See here’s one valuable lesson I learned (fine, still learning) all these years, quality versus quantity. The challenge for me has always been find beautiful pieces that are versatile enough to transition from my day at the office to an evening at some fashion or blogger’s event with a simple addition of classic blazer, change of accessories or shoes.
I think I have just found exactly that with this gorgeous crepe silk-like pleated dress from JACOB. The jewel tone green is gorgeous, it looks good on many complexions, the fabric itself is so soft it drapes smoothly along your curves and the pleats are designed intricately from top to bottom. The black straps and ribbon sash provide a great contrast to the dress, it also makes significantly easier to match with current items in my closet.
